Médicos del Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre visitan CeDInt.

Doctors of different specialties of the University Hospital '12 de Octubre 'visited throughout the month of March CeDInt facilities in the Campus of International Excellence of Montegancedo of the Polytechnic University of Madrid. The visits had the objective of knowing the research activities of the center to raise future collaborations in topics of Virtual Reality and Augmented and 3D printing. The doctors had the opportunity to visit the laboratories of Augmented Reality and Data Visualization, the five-sided CAVETM (I-Space) for immersive Virtual Reality experiences and the Digital Manufacturing workshop. Thanks to the demonstrations and projects presented by the CeDInt -UPM researchers, the doctors were able to experience in first person the possibilities offered by the latest technological advances in these areas.

The visits ended with a "brainstorming" for the definition of joint research projects that can incorporate these technologies in their day-to-day activities and thus improve the hospital services offered.
