The Technical University of Madrid gives once a year the UPM Research Award. The 5th edition of 2012 has been granted to Professor Juan Carlos Miñano of the Advanced Optics Group of CeDInt.
The UPM Research Award is granted to researchers that have an outstanding research career within UPM research areas. It recognizes areas as contribution, publications, patents, and personal history. The Award will be granted in a ceremony that will take place together with the celebration of St Thomas Aquinas.
