Viability study of a backlight system for digital TV displays based on LED technology.
The main purpose of this Project is to carry out a study of the technical viability of a backlight system that makes use of Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs). The aim is to integrate the backlight system in digital TV displays. The illumination of the display will be based in the LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) technology. We expect that the results achieved will be later used in other fields such illumination of indoor environments.
