The Monge-Ampere Equation Design Method and Its Application to Beam Shaping

Abstract:

The Monge-Ampère equation method is a powerful tool for freeform surface illumination design. This zero-étendue design method can also be generalized for extended source design, and has a significant application prospect in beam shaping.
