The smart city transformation is fuelled by technology advancements and the deployment of intelligence and information management systems. This study investigates how ICT can help urban communities to realise sustainable development. It focuses on three infrastructure-related smart city pillars - smart energy, smart transportation, and smart water - to show growth opportunities driven by future smart cities.
