Emprende en la Universidad. ¡Participa en la 20 Competición actúaupm!

Are you interested in the world of innovation and entrepreneurship, do you have an idea and would like to discover its potential, do you dare to undertake with the help of the best professionals?
The actúaupm Program launches its 20th actúaupm Competition, with more than two decades behind it, committed to promoting entrepreneurship among the entire university community. More than 320 start-ups created, which to date have raised more than 157 million euros in investment, are just some of the figures that place it as one of the leading programs in Spain and internationally. 
The initiative, open to the entire UPM community and to those people who form a team with someone from the UPM (*consult bases), aims to promote the generation of innovative ideas that can have a positive impact on the market and society and promote entrepreneurial skills from the university environment.
 

But, what does actúaupm consist of?
Structured on the basis of a competitive model, with 45,000 euros in prizes, actúaupm is nevertheless presented as a whole process that lasts several months, in which participants receive training, advice, participate in workshops and specific sessions ... 
All this with the aim of supporting the development and launch of innovative ideas and contribute to their viability and impact. With a survival rate among the start-ups that have gone through the actúaupm program, which reaches 70% three years after its creation. 
And not only that. Because actúaupm continues beyond the final awards, with support and monitoring of projects, contributing to its dissemination, as well as the search for funding.  
 

How to participate?
The competition is open to all UPM Schools and Centers, which allows to generate an ecosystem of ideas and entrepreneurs from all sectors: architecture, health, agriculture, infrastructure, consulting, fashion... The only requirement is innovation.
To participate you only need to submit an idea or ideas before March 21, 2023. Everything else is still to come! With an edition that, celebrating its 20th anniversary, is full of surprises.
