III reunión de seguimiento del proyecto VirtualMine.

Last week, the second consortium meeting of the VirtualMine project was held at the city of Laško (Slovenia). The project goal is the promotion and dissemination of raw materials among society (specially young students). At the meeting, the different applications and contents developed by the consortium members were reviewed. In particular, the Virtual Reality and Visual Analytics group of CeDInt presented an Augmented Reality application based on the Marcelo Jorissen experimental mine at the Technical School of Mines of Madrid. Besides, future steps were decided for the definition of activity workshops in order to disseminate the project contents to students and pupils of different groups of ages.
