The Smart Lighting application based on BatNET technology was deployed in the Montegancedo International Campus of Excellence - UPM. This application makes it possible to control the lighting of pedestrian walkways and car parks, optimising energy consumption. The control is carried out at an individual level in each lamp, depending on the level of illumination and presence detection measured by each one of them. Since its installation on the Montegancedo campus, energy savings of up to 85% have been achieved in the electricity required for the pedestrian lighting of the campus.
