This project focuses on designing, testing, establishing and spreading energy management services for houses, relying on ambient intelligence techniques. Particular services like load management, HVAC and lighting systems control are implemented to provide a comfortable ambient with low energy consumption. All these systems are managed by a residential gateway which communicates and handles all installed devices through LonWorks interfaces.

CeDInt implemented a control system for lighting devices. This system allows optimizing the power consumption of lighting system by dynamically adjusting its performance to external conditions like outdoor lighting.
