TEST OF DIGITAL SERVICES FOR BUILDINGS ENERGY EFFICIENCY

The European project TEDS4BEE, aiming at reducing energy consumption in public buildings’ through an experimental digital monitoring service.

TEDS4BEE aims to provide and deploy the Digital Service EMMOS (Energy Management and Monitoring Operational System) in the selected buildings located in five countries. EMMOS will make it possible to collect, store and analyse consumption data and other parameters that influence energy consumption such as temperature, humidity, NOx, CO2, comfort level, light intensity, etc.

This will facilitate building managers and ESCO’s (Energy Service Companies) to identify energy efficiency improvement actions and will help local authorities to define better energy policies.

Under the TeDS4BEE project, EMMOS will be implemented in seventeen (17) public buildings along five clusters (Italy, Spain-Portugal, UK-Ireland, Poland and Serbia).

TEDS4BEE's main objectives are the integration and validation of EMMOS as the Digital Service in the pilot buildings; assessment of the collected data in terms of energy efficiency and savings; definition of the business and exploitation plans to ensure the sustainability and the scalability beyond these pilots and users' acceptance through surveys and expected impact emission reduction in buildings TEDS4BEE gathers in the consortium the full value chain (ICT providers, ESCOs and public building owners) and universities research centers and clusters association along seven European countries.

This variety of partners and buildings will make a very comprehensive set of testing cases empowering replication. All the information related to the project will be available soon on the TEDS4BEE website (www.teds4bee.eu).
