Guillermo del Campo en la IoT Week 2018 de Bilbao.

During this week, from 3 to 7 June, IoT Week 2018 and the Global IoT Summit were held in Bilbao. Guillermo del Campo, researcher at CeDInt, made the presentation "IoT Solution for Energy Optimization in Industry 4.0: Issues of a Real-life Implementation" in which he presented the IoT solution for monitoring energy consumption in machines and manufacturing processes within the framework of Industry 4.0. The presentation described the process of adapting the BatNet solution to industrial environments and the resolution of the various problems encountered during the installation and operation phases.
IoT Week, held since 2011, is the most important annual conference organized by the IoT Forum. Recent editions have attracted some 500 participants specialised in the field of the Internet of Things, and bring together participants from research centres, research projects, large industries, SMEs, promoters, standards development organisations and policy makers, including the European Commission.
The IoT Forum is a totally independent, member-driven organization whose objective is to
- Promote dialogue and international cooperation on the Internet of Things.
- Organize events and conferences, such as IoT Week.
- Develop activities and synergies with and among its members.
The IoT Forum supports the development of a global Internet of Things community, promoting dialogue and international cooperation between research, industry and public administrations.
